The wagenborg pass
Fast and easy
The Wagenborg pass is beneficial for passengers who make regular crossings to and from Ameland or Schiermonnikoog. Credits on the pass give you fast and easy boarding access.
The benefits
- You can upgrade your Wagenborg pass with a 10 or 20-crossing credit for the Ferry or Fast Ferry. This reduces the price per crossing. The credit is not bound to one person.
- From 20 August 2026, newly purchased crossing credits will be valid for 24 months. Crossing credits purchased before 20 August 2026 will remain valid indefinitely.
- If you buy the credit before April 1st or after October 1st, it reduces the cost of our ferry rates because you will then avoid the summer surcharge.
- You do not have to queue up at the counter for buying a ticket.
- A crossing will automatically be debited from your credit during check-in. This is done at the entrance gates in the terminals at Holwert and Lauwersoog, at the car desk or during check in for the Fast Ferry

Request a Wagenborg pass
You can apply for a Wagenborg pass online or at our customer service counter in our head office in Nes.
We encourage you to:
- order your pass online. You can select and order one pass at a time. You will receive the pass within 5 working days.
- Please take into account a delivery time of 5 working days if you wish to purchase your credit for a specific date (for example, before April 1st, when the summer rate starts). You can only top up your Wagenborg pass with multi-crossing credit once it has been created.
Please note: You need two passes for one person and a vehicle of up to 5.5 meters.
Practical information
- You can choose between a Wagenborg pass for passengers and a Wagenborg pass for vehicles up to 5.5 metres.
- The Wagenborg pass with 10- and 20-crossing credit is not bound to a specific person or vehicle.
- You can use credits for the ferry once a day for one person or vehicle.
- The credit for the Fast Ferry can be used by different people and on several times a day.
- Credit on the Wagenborg pass are valid indefinitely.
Check your credit and upgrade online
Use "My Wagenborg", the ticket machines in the terminals and the balance checker at the head office in Nes, you can check how much credit is left on your Wagenborg Pass. You can top up your credit via Mijn Wagenborg, at the counters in the terminals in Holwert and Lauwersoog and at Customer Service at the head office in Nes.
